Ms. Bates Moss joined Seedco Financial as its new president in March 2009. Most recently she served as President/CEO of LBM & Associates, consulting in the area of strategic and financial planning, including work for nonprofit affordable housing development organizations. Previously, she served as Vice President and Head of Counterparty Risk Management in Fannie Mae's Single-Family Mortgage Division and as senior vice president with Moody's Investors Service. She has also held several positions in local and state government, including a critical role in the implementation of New York City's first minority- and women-owned business programs during the Dinkins Administration. Her efforts resulted in some $250 million in contracts being awarded to small businesses during the first year. Ms. Bates Moss holds a Bachelor of Arts in American Government from the University of Virginia and a Masters in Science in Real Estate Investment Analysis from New York University.
