Seedco celebrated 21 years of providing innovative strategies to address the challenges of poverty and economic security during its first-ever gala event at Cipriani on 42nd Street on October 23, 2007. Journalist Nick Clooney served as master of ceremonies.

The memorable evening began with a special appearance by New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, who lauded Seedco's innovative strategies to challenge poverty in New York and across the country.

New York City government leaders, corporate and foundation supporters, nonprofit colleagues and community-based partners gathered to honor Seedco founder and Seedco Financial president, William J. Grinker, and Ford Foundation president, Susan V. Berresford.
