Seedco in Buffalo
Seedco launched EarnBenefits® in Buffalo/Erie County, New York in 2006. New York State's Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance is funding Seedco to pilot EarnBenefits in close partnership with Erie County's Department of Social Services. In Erie County, EarnBenefits services will target individuals making the transition from public assistance to work with a strong emphasis on providing free tax preparation and financial education.
This is a unique opportunity for Seedco to work closely with the government agencies that administer many of the state and local benefits that are part of the EarnBenefits package. We're also testing the scalability of our services as we expand from New York City to another county in New York State.
