N-PAC's role in the EarnFair Alliance
N-PAC's intermediary role in the EarnFair Alliance is unique; its ultimate goal is to build the capacity of the partner organizations. To that end, N-PAC:
- provides capital to assure that cash flow needs are met,
- performs fiscal and contract management,
- offers resources and training to improve program quality,
- uses a web-based MIS system for efficient communication,
- encourages sharing of expertise and best practices, and
- provides technical assistance.
The Alliance grew out of the Neighborhood Strategies Project created in 1995 by the New York Community Trust.
