Interactive Map for Lower Manhattan Small Businesses

LowerManhattanMap.com was created for ESD by NYPIRG's Community Mapping Assistance Project (CMAP) through the WTC Technical Assistance Services Grant Program. The interactive map enables visitors, residents, businesses, the media, public officials, and others to pinpoint the locations of sites they plan to visit, stores they want to shop at, or subway, bus, and ferry routes they need to take to get downtown.

Employment Support

EarnFair is participating in Seedco's September 11th Employment Assistance Program, funded by the September 11th Fund. This program assists people who lost their jobs as a result of 9-11 or who had a significant loss of income.

Participants in EarnFair's September 11th program receive services out of Seedco's Lower Manhattan Small Business and Workforce Retention Project office at 90 William Street. The program offers individualized assessment and job development, a job search resource center, workshops on job search skills, and access to skills training and cash support.

If you are unemployed or under-employed as a result of 9-11 and want to receive employment services, call Safe Horizon at 866-689-4357. This is the agency that determines eligibility for the program.
