A February 7 article in the Memphis Commercial Appeal profiled Seedco’s upcoming job fairs, which feature jobs in a range of fields, including construction, warehouse, forklift, machine shop, call centers and restaurants. Over the next 28 days, Seedco will hold 16 job fairs for the Memphis community! The series of job fairs, titled “I LOVE TO WORK,” are designed to serve participants in Seedco’s programs, including out-of-school youth and individuals with a history of criminal justice involvement, as well as the larger community.

Seedco Awarded $1.48 Million from U.S. Dept. of Labor to Serve Justice-Involved Young Adults in Memphis

Seedco’s Mid-South office in Memphis, TN was awarded $1,480,000 from the U.S. Department of Labor (USDOL)’s Reentry Project grant program to improve employment opportunities for justice-involved young adults in Memphis. This program will build on Seedco’s two existing USDOL grants serving individuals with a history of criminal justice involvement, in both Memphis and Baltimore, as well as Seedco’s programs serving out-of-school youth funded by the Memphis Workforce Investment Network.
