POSITION OVERVIEW 

Seedco is a national nonprofit organization that advances economic opportunity for people, businesses and communities in need. Founded in 1987 and rooted in the Mid-South region since 2004, Seedco’s Mid-South Regional Office (MSRO) operates five grant programs via various funders across ten counties in West Tennessee. This role will work across all other programs at the MSRO and will provide direct support to the MSRO Senior Director and SFSF Director.

The Operations Associate will be the primary point of contact for the Senior Director and the SFSF Director as it relates to program data, report completion, project management, analyzing processes to identify inefficiencies and streamling operations to minimize/eliminate inefficiencies. The Operations Associate will work closely with multiple program evaluators and have knowlegde of multiple databases, federal reporting systems up to and including Salesforce.  The Operations Associate will be a key player in the day-to-day operations of the MSRO. This person’s responsibilities include monitoring and evaluating progress toward goals, establishing and maintaining community partnerships and providing collegial oversight/assistance to daily program logistics and operations with current team leaders.  The Operations Associate will report directly to the MSRO Senior Director.

KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Facilitates cross-channel feedback from staff, community partners and program participants to MSRO leadership.
  • Works with team leaders to learn departmental needs and goals. Works to streamline processes and activities to ensure metrics are realized appropriately.
  • Enters all program data in a timely and accurate manner into Salesforce and other authorized databases; executes regular data imports and exports.
  • Maintains confidentiality of sensitive client data according to Seedco’s privacy standards.
  • Completes and reviews reports, runs reports across all programs to monitor data, communicates with Senior Director and SFSF Director about inconsistent or incorrect data, and troubleshoots data errors.
  • Create detailed spreadsheets to support data inputs and reporting.
  • Work as part of the team to foster, build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Will possess the ability to implement policies, processes and procedures while solving complex issues and challenges.
  • Ensure that all activities conform to local, federal, industry and company standards.
  • Creates program materials and should have working knowledge of various graphic design programs.
  • Will design and implement the volunteer/intern program for the MSRO.
  • Must possess the ability to work independently as well as with teams with appropriate and collaborative communication skills.
  • Works closely with program evaluators; responds to inquiries and submits required information in a timely manner.
  • Ability to structure events and travel.
  • Working knowledge of grants implementation and grants management.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Master’s Degree Preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Experience working with and sensitivity toward vulnerable populations and individuals with diverse backgrounds.
  • Five years experience in nonprofit sector preferred.
  • Experience working in an administrative capacity and/or in data management preferred.
  • 2+ years of verifiable experience working with Salesforce or similar databases.

This job is performed under general office conditions and is not subject to any strenuous physical demands or dangerous conditions.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED

The Operations Associate will report directly to the MSRO Senior Director.
