Data Analytics and Operations Associate

Bridges to Careers (BTC): Supporting Justive-involved Young Adults is a program funded through the U.S. Department of Labor’s Employment and Training Administration (ETA). The program is designed to assist young adults with a history of justice involvement living in high-poverty, high-crime communities find sustainable jobs and advance in their careers.

In support of Seedco’s Bridges to Careers: Supporting Justice-involved Young Adults program (BTC), the data analytics and operations associate will coordinate all data management and reporting efforts for the program and will administer the Salesforce database used for case management and reporting. This position will be responsible providing technical assistance and training on the database to the three program implementation sites (South Bronx, NY; Baltimore, MD; and Memphis, TN/West Memphis, AR). The data analytics and operations manager will also be responsible for analyzing data for various purposes including continuous quality improvement of program operations, monitoring compliance with funder reporting requirements, and coordinating with the senior program manager to develop reports on program progress for senior leadership. A portion of this position’s time will also focus on supporting the database management of other Seedco programs.

  1. Coordinate data collection, analysis, and reporting across program sites
  2. Administer the Salesforce database and develop appropriate processes and procedures to support its efficient use
  3. Develop trainings for staff and partners to effectively utilize Salesforce
  4. Collaborate with the senior program manager to monitor performance and outcomes
  5. Establish strategic plans of database management and analysis to ensure quality management of data
  6. Ensure accurate and timely data tracking specifically to measure participant outcomes and meet funder reporting requirements
  7. Provide general support to staff across programs on data management and reporting
  8. Other duties as assigned


  1. Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred or equivalent training and experience
  2. Significant computer skills
  3. Experience working with Salesforce or similar databases
  4. Prior experience developing and/or administering databases including building reports and adapting the database to meet programmatic and reporting needs
  5. Expertise in Microsoft Excel and similar programs
  6. Experience examining data and translating it into programmatic recommendations
  7. Ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience
  8. Ability to travel out of state (estimated 2-3 trips per quarter)

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Salesforce administrator experience or certification
  2. Experience working on federally funded programs or similar government programs
  3. Experience working across multiple program sites or at a national level
  4. Experience organizing and facilitating trainings
  5. Experience working with justice-involved populations, community-based organizations


This position requires out-of-state travel at least twice a quarter in the first year or additional travel as needed.


The data analytics and operations associate reports to the director of New York programs and will coordinate directly with the senior project manager on cross-site coordination and consistency.
