Program Assistant

The Program Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support and qualitative assistance to Seedco’s New York programs. This includes supporting the daily operations of multiple programs, and working closely with both Leadership and Program Associates to ensure program excellence. The Program Assistant should be very familiar with Salesforce, and able to acquire an Admin License within six months of hire.


  • Provide day-to-day assistance and data quality support to the Fatherhood Program Associate and Program Director;
  • Track, monitor and follow-up on progress of projects and action items for leadership in a tactful and timely manner;
  • Coordinate and help facilitate professional development trainings for program staff;
  • Conduct monthly site visits to program sites alongside Program Associate to ensure site compliance with program guidelines;
  • Support program’s quality assurance efforts by closely monitoring and managing database/ providing technical assistance to staff on Best Practices in handling and entering data
  • Coordinate submission of data from all program partners and assist Program Associate and Program Director in compiling information for program reports, presentations, etc;
  • Assist in the development of projections, budgets and other quantitative reports through collection of program performance data;
  • Manage order and distribution of incentives and transportation assistance;
  • Manage room reservations and organization-wide calendar invitations;
  • Attend meetings and trainings as indicated by the Program Director;
  • Process required forms and documentation for Fatherhood payment requests and track program expenses;
  • Provide coverage to the front desk at 22 Cortlandt Street for one hour M-F
  • Any other related task as assigned.


  • Bachelor’s degree required;
  • Salesforce Admin License a plus;
  • Strong verbal, written and communication skills;


  • Must be willing to become a certified Salesforce administrator;
  • Must possess advanced computer skills including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office;
  • Must have the ability to perform complex tasks and prioritize multiple projects;
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with a wide range of individuals;
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills are critical;
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills are a must;
  • The ability to analyze, summarize, and effectively present professionally are essential;
  • Must be organized and detail oriented;
  • Must have the ability to multi-task and work effectively under pressure; and
  • Must be able to work well in both team setting and individually.


Supervised by the SFSF Program Associate- these roles work closely together to manage data and monitor performance.
