Since early 2013, Johnny Price has been a participant in Seedco’s Strong Fathers, Stronger Families (SFSF) program housed at BronxWorks, one of four community-based organizations partnering with Seedco in the program. SFSF is a program designed to help low-income custodial and non-custodial fathers in NYC neighborhoods like Mr. Price’s in the Bronx gain the resources they need to enter and succeed in the workforce, while developing closer relationships with their children and partners. Mr. Price’s drive, dedication and openness to use his experience to help other fathers create successes for themselves and their families have earned him this year’s NYCETC Program Participant Award.
