Ronin A. Davis oversees Seedco’s New York programming, including Strong Fathers, Stronger Families (SFSF); Youth Advancing in the Workplace; a randomized control trial with MDRC as part of the national Building Bridges & Bonds study and multiple programs connecting low-income families to public benefits. Ronin returns to Seedco after having previously worked on SFSF during the program’s launch. Prior to rejoining Seedco, Ronin worked for The Council of State Governments (CSG) Justice Center where he managed the Community Initiatives technical assistance team, which focused on the intersection of community-based organizations and criminal and juvenile justice agencies. He and his team worked with grant programs across the country that utilized mentoring, technology-based career training, and fatherhood and family-supportive services to support people returning from incarceration. Ronin also oversaw the development of the Mentoring as a Component of Reentry project. In the past Ronin has worked on different alternatives to incarceration projects and began his career working in juvenile detention at the Boulder County Juvenile Assessment Center in Colorado. Ronin received his BA from the University of Colorado Boulder and his MSW from Columbia University.
